Dr. Jeffrey Reinhart was re-instated to practice by the Arkansas medical board, Thursday, following his recent suspension.

During the hearing, he entered into a consent agreement with the Arkansas Medical Board,which required him to enter into a lifetime contract with the Arkansas Medical Foundation.

The AMF will monitor Dr. Rinehart, as they do other medical professionals with similar histories.  This is to insure that incidents, like the one that lived to his suspension, do not reoccur.

It was also agreed during the hearing that Dr. Rinehart will no longer perform obstetrics.

Dr. Reinhart stated, “I’m humbled and grateful that the Medical Board has allowed me to return to practice.”

“Throughout this difficult time for me and my family, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers and encouragement from so many. To all of you who have stood by me, I say “Thank You”.”

He added, “My staff and I look forward to reopening my clinic in the very near future. I’m very excited about serving my community again.”
