DMHS ER PHYSICIAN WINS MEDICAL DIRECTOR AWARD

Robert Jacobs, D.O. was selected among 35 medical directors as the Medical Director of the Year by Emergency Staffing Solutions.
ESS contracts with Drew Memorial Health System (formerly Drew Memorial Hospital) and more than 65 other hospitals in 13 states to provide facilities with Emergency Department and inpatient physicians.
Jacobs was chosen by the staff of ESS for his relationships with hospital staff, patients, and other physicians, and for statistics ESS gathers on his performance each month.
“It comes as no surprise that Dr. Jacobs has been recognized by ESS. He consistently goes above and beyond for patients who seek care in our Emergency Room, and the feedback we receive reflects his capable work and exceptional bedside manner,” said Scott Barrilleaux, CEO of Drew Memorial.
Dr. Jacobs has been the medical director at Drew Memorial for 8 years.
