January 22nd, 2015 by SubmittedRoxie Davis was born to the late Roosevelt and Ruby Green on 04/26/1943 in Rye, Arkansas. She departed this life Sunday January 18, 2015 at Drew Memorial Hospital.
She married Artis Davis Jr. at an early age, and to this union seven children were born. She leaves to cherish her memories three sons Artis Davis Jr. and Kelvin Davis of Wilmar, and Frederick Davis of Atlanta, GA. Two daughters Sharon Davis Pitts of San Antonio, TX and Marcella Davis of Wilmar. Roxie is survived by three sisters, three brothers, 10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a devoted friend and caregiver, Julius Sanders. Preceding her in death were two children Malcolm Davis, and Melvin Davis. Services will be Saturday, January 24, 2015 @11:00am at Mt.
