After 30 Years, Fletcher Retires as City Financial Director

After serving the City of Monticello for 30 years, Kimberly Fletcher retired, Friday.
Mrs. Fletcher told MLive, “Like Ms. Reba, who had this job before me; one day she finished up her work, and said, “Well, that’s about all I can do here” and retired, right then.” “I thought she was crazy, but after 30 years, it all makes sense, now.”
In her 30 years of service to the citizens of Monticello, she has served under 5 mayors: James Jordan, Harold West, David Anderson, Joe Rogers, and current mayor AllenMaxwell.
Fletchers will finish using her vacation time, then officially enter retirement.
