I first met May & Faye in 1968 at the age of 18. My first employment out of high school was with Burlington Industries. I worked in the same department with Faye. On my first day after meeting Faye I was taken around and introduced to people in different departments and ran into May. She introduced herself and I said “don’t you remember…I just met you”. Everyone got a good laugh. Of course the fact that they were dressed identical didn’t help matters. They would often show up at work dressed the same without planning it. I guess that’s part of being twins. These two women are amazing and their ability to still harmonize so beautifully is priceless.
