Arrest Update – Local Man Wanted for Thefts

An arrest has been made in this case, which ran on MLive last week.
Michael Berryman, turned himself in to the Drew County Sheriff’s Dept. on Sunday, after the info of his arrest warrent was posted on MonticelloLive.com
On January 22, 2013, the Drew County Sheriffs Office, received report of several items being stolen from the Green Hill area.
Property stolen range from firearms, tools and jewelry. Most of the property has been located at pawn shops in Warren and Star City and it was confirmed that the property was pawned by Michael Berryman who is now wanted by the Sheriff’s Office for the thefts in which have occurred. Some property has not been claimed or reported stolen at this time but if you do notice anything missing from you yard or inside your house and you have a connection with Berryman please contact the Drew County Sheriff’s Office and we will assist you in anyway we can. Michael Berryman will have a warrant issued for his arrest for the following; Residential Burglary, Theft of Property, Theft of a Firearm and Breaking or Entering.
