80-100 People Search for Missing Bobby Hampton, This Morning
Published by Joe Burgess January 27th, 2008 in Police /Legal.This morning, local citizens met at Jordan Park to organize, spread out into groups, to help search for Bobby Hampton, who has been missing for nearly 3 weeks.
Shown above, Sheriff Mark Gober and Office of Emergency Service Director Bill Horn discuss proper procedures for conducting the search with organizers of today’s search.
Between 80-100 residents came to help, many bringing 4-wheelers to search the larger open areas.
The group met at 7 a.m., divided into 4 units, and separated to search the Old Warren Road area, the Coleman area, and both sides of Lake Monticello.
The leaders of the event today are Southeast Cycle Motorcycle Club, of Monticello.
The searchers will meet again around noon, and some will possibly return to the search areas after their update meeting.
