this wreck started in my drivew. The driver left the road in my north driveway traveling south, wiped out my mailbox & continued on down the side of the ditch going across my south driveway & continued til he hit the culvert embankment in a small creek & then flipped the suv. He’s lucky to be alive, but I understand his dog was killed in the accident. I thought when I heard the impact & the boom that a big truck tire had blown out & had continued on down the road. I had no idea all this had happened til I went out to get my morning paper & the deputy, ambulance & wrecker were all there along with others who had stopped. I had only been up for a few minutes when all this happened. It is just a bad place on the highway as there have been several one vehicle accidents in the 31 years I have lived at this address. I’ve even had a Swift truck come barreling down the ditch & end up in the creek in the middle of the nite about 3 or 4 yrs ago.
