4 Car Wreck at Bolling & 425

Just before 6 p.m., Monday night, this 2002 blue Chevy Cavalier, shown here by the “El Zarape” pole near the HWY 425 & Bolling Street intersection,

appears to have been pulling out of the Fred’s parking lot, and entered the path of this maroon Chevy pick-up, which was traveling north on HWY 425.

A white Chevy Lumina had pulled up to the stop sign on Bolling Street, saw the accident occurring and quickly backed up.  But as the Lumina was backing up, it struck the back fender/bumper area of the Toyota 4 door, shown here.

Two people were transported to the hospital, one each from the Cavalier and the pick-up, and three vehicles were towed from the scene.

This is such a bad place. I would love to see a traffic light installed in this area. This would slow down the traffic and make it a much safer place…

Yes I agree. Not only is this a bad area to not only pull out of the Fred’s Parking lot but you have to time it just right to make a left off of Bolling St. I think there should also be something done about the intersection were Bolling St crosses Main St in front off the Workforce (Unemployment) Office. It is so hard to make that “zig zagged straight” with out worrying if some one is going to pop over that hill. There are many bad intersections.
