A time honored tradition continues as 17 senior athletes from Drew Central High School were recognized at the last basketball game of the season Friday, February 2.

Seniors were escorted by family and friends in front of a crowded gym of fans as the Drew Central Junior and Senior boys played the Smackover Buckaroos; and Senior Lady Pirates played the Smackover Lady Bucs. Students were presented with a t-shirt and rose by family and friends provided by the Pirate Booster Club organization. It was a simple but special moment in the lives of these seniors as some have participated in their last high school sport in tennis, basketball, cross country, cheer, dance, and baseball.
