4 Car Pile-Up between Dead Man’s Curve & Selma

Minutes before 5:30 pm, Highway 278 East between Dead Man’s s Curve and Selma, was the scene of a 4 car pile up as a blue Dodge pick up that had stopped for road construction was rear ended by a red Chevy pick-up.
A 4-door Toyota was attempting to stop, and was rear ended by a beige GMC Acadia. The Toyota then struck the right rear of the red Chevy, and was knocked across the ditch.
The Acadia, after pushing the Toyota out of its path, then collided with the left side of the red Chevy truck.
At least 3 passengers were transported to local hospitals, by SEEMS and MASI.
Drew County Sheriff’s deputies, OEM and AHP control the scene, while ambulances provided care for the victims.
Reggie’s, Rod’s and Rangle wreckers removed the vehicles.
