The final meeting of the 2011-2012 year for Colonel William F. Slemons Ch. 977 was held at the Drew County Museum on June 26.
There were 10 members present and two guests. Officers for the 2012-2014 year selected were as follows: Beth Thurman, President; Connie Mullis, Vice-president; Martha Weatherford, Secretary; Annette Rawls, Treasurer; Sue Johnson, Registrar; Diane Mazanti, Chaplain; Ann Burgess, Historian; Jan West, Recorder of Military Service Awards; and Jo Ann Handley, Parliamentarian.
