2011 County Fair Schedule, Information, Parking Changes, & “Drew County Fair Farm Families of the Year”
August 13th, 2011 by Joe Burgess
The Drew County Fair Board is honoring 2 local families, both well known for their decades of farming traditions, and both longtime supporters of the Drew County Fair, as the “2011 Drew County Fair Farm Families of the Year.” John Wayne and April Ross, of Florence, and Dwight and Sherri Witcher and family, of Selma, were honored for their lifelong dedication to farming, and to the Drew County farming tradition.
Both families will serve as Parade Marshalls for the 2011 Drew County Fair Parade.

The fair’s entrance and parking procedures have been changed this year.
Visitors will enter the fairgrounds from the highway and park, without having to wait in line, in their vehicles. The ticket booth will be open to sell tickets for entrance to the fair, next to the commercial building, near the livestock/poultry exhibit area.
Another change worth noting, the EHC kitchen will be open during the evenings, only.
