2010 Babe Ruth 13-15 Year Old World Series to be Played in Monticello
July 1st, 2009 by Joe BurgessMonticello Babe Ruth league officers signed a contract Tuesday night, to bring the 2010 13-15 Year Old Babe Ruth World Series to Monticello.
Robert Faherty, vice president and commisioner for Babe Ruth League, Inc., based in Trenton, New Jersey, was present in Monticello for the contract signing.

The photo on the left, shows city council members who chose to take part in the ceremonial signing, as well as other community supporters of Babe Ruth Baseball.

Also in attendance were local league officers who are looking forward to having Monticello serve as the host city to the 2010 World Series, which will fill Monticello motels, restaurants, and businesses with out of town guests, from all over the county, for more than a week, in August of 2010.
