The original call came in as a “trapped in vehicle”, so the fire and rescue teams responded, along with Monticello Police, and Drew County Sheriff’s Dept.

MASI transported the driver (who was standing and talking to bystanders at the scene), and Triple A towed the HHR.

Dog Adoption Success Stories

February 22nd, 2009 by Submitted
Lilly - a recent adoptive placementWhen thinking of adding a dog to your family, many question if adoption is as good of a choice as buying from a breeder or a pet store. Often times concerns about the dog’s behavior, ability to adjust to home life, and general temperament are expressed to me from those considering adopting one of our rescue dogs. These are all very valid concerns, no matter where you are searching for your new family member. To help those curious about dog adoption learn a little more in regards to how “pound puppies” fit into families, I thought sharing a few of the numerous emails from adoptive families would be helpful.
