The Southeast Arkansas Economic Development District came to Selma’s historic Rosenwald School last week, to present Drew County with a check representing a $2,000 grant for improvements for the building, from the state’s General Improvement Fund.

SEADD, represented by deputy director David Dempsey and grants administrator Andrew Armstrong, have helped over 30 projects, from 10 different counties.

The Rosenwald School grant will be used to rehabilitate the front entrance and windows.  SEADD funded an earlier grant to the Rosenwald Project of $1,000.
