18-Wheeler Against Light Pole on Old Troy Road at Midnight
May 12th, 2008 by Joe BurgessAround midnight, Sunday night, this tractor trailer was on it’s way from Colorado to Florida, hauling potatoes, when his GPS told him that Old Troy was a connecting road between highways.
The GPS was incorrect, as the driver found out, and came to a dead end, with no good place to turn his rig around in the dark.
The driver then attempted to back up his big-rig to find a good turning spot, when his rear wheels ran into the ditch on the gravel section of Old Troy Road, and was resting against a light pole.
Lock & Keys towed the 18-wheeler out the ditch, and helped him get turned around.
