Death of Unborn Infant Leads to Charges Against Nurse & “Mom”

According to Prosecuting Attorney Thomas Deen, 2 local women are facing felony charges, following the death of an unborn infant, and the actions that followed.
Anne Bynum, a 37 year old Drew County woman was arrested in April, on the charge of “Concealing Birth.” She also is charged with abuse of a corpse.
We originally reported, “On Wednesday, April 1, at approximately 11:30 am, Drew County authorities were dispatched to the Drew Memorial Hospital Emergency Room were it was alleged that Anne Bynum had entered the hospital asking to see a doctor. When asked what was wrong, Bynum held up a plastic bag containing a newborn baby girl. The child was pronounced deceased at the hospital and taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy.”
During the investigation it was discovered that Bynum (approximately 33 weeks pregnant) delivered the child at around 3 am at her parents home, but did not call for medical attention or wake anyone up. Instead she placed the child in the plastic bag and stored the baby in her car. Bynum then went back inside and went back to bed and several hours later she reported to Drew Memorial Hospital.
It has also been discovered that Bynum had taken medications a couple of days before the birth to induce labor.
Charges of unlawful and unlicensed abortionwere also filed Wednesday against a local nurse, Karen M. Collins, age 33, who assisted and “induced” Bynum, in the events that led to the death of the unborn child.

Clearly you women have no conscious. I hope you two women read this and know that you’ll never see that little one take the first steps. You’ll never see him/her grow. No high school graduation. No marriage. No grandchildren. No laughter.AND IT’S ALL BECAUSE SOMEONE DECIDED THE BABY WAS AN INCONVIENCE.
I hope you are happy because the most dangerous place for your baby wasn’t an angry prison, an alley, or the inner city. The most dangerous place for that little one was the womb of his mother that didn’t have love for him/her. It is not our choice to get rid of unborn babies. Abortion is nothing but murder! For those that think abortion is ok……Think about this: Aren’t you glad you were not aborted!
IF THAT’S THE WAY SHE’S GOING TO TREAT A “CHILD OF GOD”.. THEN I SAY SHE SHOULDN’T BE ALLOWED TO HAVE ANYMORE CHILDREN!!! THIS IS PREMEDITATED MURDER.. SHE HAD TAKEN DRUGS TO INDUCE LABOR.. SO SHE HAD THIS PLANNED ALL ALONG!! JUST REMEMBER.. SHE’S THE ONE WHO HAS TO ANSWER TO GOD FOR THIS DISASTER.. NOT US!!!! I’D SURE HATE TO BE IN HER PLACE WHEN SHE DOES!!!!
Ryan you are so very right….. Children are a gift from the Lord, there are plenty of people who would have loved to adopt that baby a precious life gone…. More people need to take a Stand for unborn babies….
