100 MPH Pursuit of Stolen Car, Starts in Hamburg, Ends Near UAM, 2 am, Monday Morning, Manhunt Ends at 6:50 am

Drew County Sheriffs Deputies used spike strips to end a high-speed chase, estimated to reach around 100 MPH, Monday morning at 1:55, south of the UAM entrance, on HWY 425. The car has been reported stolen out of Little Rock.
According to Hamburg Police Chief Johnny Oliver, an HPD patrolman saw a Toyota Camry make traffic violations, and attempted to stop the vehicle. Instead of stopping, the car fled north on Highway 425.
Ashley County Deputies assisted in the pursuit, estimated to reach 100 mph, as it left Ashley County and entered Drew County, DCSO deputies deployed spike strips, bringing the Toyota to a stop.
The juvenile male driver of the vehicle and an adult female passenger were taken into custody, at the scene. Marijuana was found inside the vehicle.
A third occupant fled the scene on foot. MPD‘s canine, Cezar, was called out to assist in the search.
That third occupant was located at 6:50 AM by a Drew County Deputy patrolling the area. She was also a juvenile, who was transported to the Drew County Jail.
