This blue Chevy Caprice was involved in two separate accidents on a recent Friday night.

The driver, Antonio Merritt, of Lacey, ran off the road in the Valley Junction Road area, hitting a tree.  Merritt then left the scene of that wreck, and soon was in the ditch again at the corner of Lacey School Road.

He again left the scene (without the Caprice) and was located at home by the Sheriff’s Dept.

Merritt was charged with 2 counts of leaving the scene of an accident, possession of a controlled substance, DWI-drugs, failing to maintain control of a vehicle, reckless driving, and driving on a suspended license.
